Okay, so this is the final and last post for Garrett's T-ball, 2011. This particular night was a such a big deal for Garrett and his teammates. They got to play under the lights. But, even better, they all got a trophy after the game. WOW! Bub was very excited. I am pretty certain he had about half the fans there, with it totaling around 17 people. This night, he had his loyal fans from the entire season and he had some new ones too.
Again, I have to say, that Kevin and I are super proud of Garrett and his T ball season. He was the only 3 year old playing with other kids ages 4 to 7. He held his own for sure and we are happy with his efforts. He surprised us with hitting off the pitching machine about 50% of the time. And, if he had to use the tee, he hit 100% off that. We hope his defense interest will rise, but the "middle"(being the pitcher) was by far his favorite position to play. We think this was a great experience for Garrett and we know he is looking forward to doing it again next season. As a parent, it was very rewarding watching Garrett do something that makes him happy and participating in something he really enjoyed!
