1ST LOST TOOTH

Yes, you read the title of this blog correctly.....1st Lost Tooth! Garrett lost his first tooth at 20 months old. It is the tooth next to his front right tooth. We were not expecting this to happen for several more years. He fell and hit his mouth on a banister railing in our front entry way/living room area. It was a total surprise, especially since Garrett was not being "typical" Garrett. He was not climbing, running, spinning, etc. He was just walking and fell and busted his mouth. His mouth bled for awhile and after we got the bleeding under control, we went to give him Motrin for the pain and that is when we discovered the missing tooth......root and all! Poor little guy....however, he was eating Hacienda chips and ranch about an hour after the incident and hasn't acted like it has bothered him one time since. What a tough boy!

THE TOOTH...what a big tooth for such a little man!

The banister rail....he hit his mouth on the bottom right hand front corner of the thick part.....I tried getting a close up because there are now two teeth marks there....but I couldn't get a picture to turn out
