Hamilton Holiday 2010

In mid November each year, we get together with our extended Hamilton family to celebrate Thanksgiving/Christmas.  It is always nice to see family that we don't get to see regularly. The food was great and the visit with family was nice.  Garrett especially enjoyed himself this year. It is the first year he was really able to "run around" without full time adult supervision and he played with lots of his other cousins(2nd cousins).  Most of them are older than Garrett, but he and Grant both enjoyed themselves. Kevin's cousin, Eric, is a police officer in Henderson, so he brought his cop car to show the kids. Garrett even got to push the button to make the loud siren sound while he sat in the front seat of the police car. Garrett got a badge from Eric and he also enjoyed climbing in the ambulance that stopped by that day.  The Great Aunts had games for the children and Garrett played musical chairs for the first time ever. I think it is somewhat of a difficult game to explain to a 2 year old, but he did fine! I captured some pictures of our day:)

Foosball with cousins

The gift exchange

Waiting patiently:)

Grant is in.....oh my! He was trying to open the gift a bit early!

Sitting in the ambulance

An ambulance stops by...Garrett and Grant are both inside

Grant reached for the paramedic...Garrett is to the right of the picture.  The paramedics were showing the kids things in their ambulance.

Sitting shotgun in the Police Car! He  still talks about pushing that square button that made the loud noise

I hope I don't see this again in about 16 years....or ever!

Musical chairs

The music is playing...Bub stayed in for about 5+ rounds...not bad for a "1st timer" and, for this game, being shy doesn't help:)
