GRANT JACOB

My beautiful blued eye boy has brought so much joy to our lives.  Grant is a pretty well natured boy who doesn't seem to know a stranger and is happy most of the time.  He smiles a lot and his constant laugh is contagious! But, he also has a side to him where he just wants to find his thumb and cuddle in for comfort. I am not opposed to either of these behaviors:) 

Like most babies, he loves music and enjoys to dance. He is quite adorable when he does so.  Grant does really well going down for naps and at night time and with sleeping through the night. He has grown a fondness for his glow worm(GLOWY), who stays in his bed. He loves himself some food and there isn't much he won't eat.  He typically eats more than his big brother. If Garrett or anyone has a drink, Grant must also have one!  He only knows sign language for "MORE" and this was probably the wrong one to teach him:) He is a pro at climbing steps and can pretty much run behind walking toys, but doesn't care to walk. Grant will turn 15 months on December 28 and he has walked across our formal living twice(approx 20+ steps) and doesn't seem to care if he ever does it again. I know he can walk.....but I guess he just isn't quite ready:) Grant is a tough boy and we owe thanks to Garrett for a big part of that....Garrett is not always the gentlest big brother. 

Yes, Grant is almost 15 months, but I still wanted to post his 1 year stats......height: 29 1/4 inches(60%), weight was 20 lbs 1oz(30-40%).....ha...Papa swears the doctor was wrong. He says there is no way 30-40% could be right! Regardless of what percentile, we love Grant Jacob 100%!
