A morning at Wesselman's Park

Great Aunt Mimi and Julie invited us to go to Wesselman's Park a few Saturday mornings ago.  They were having a pancake breakfast fundraiser for the park.  The pancakes and syrup were delicious and we especially enjoyed our tour after breakfast.  A nature center volunteer took us through part of the park while explaining how they make syrup there.  It was interesting and the boys did a great job.  Grant would walk with other people(strangers) in the group and not think a thing of it.  Of course, we were right there behind him, but he managed to make them and all of us smile. We made it to the end to taste test syrup, see a pretend "Raccoon", pretend to be rowing a row boat in a real boat, get the IU symbol painted on our face, and to see a real Red Tailed Hawk.  It was not a typical Saturday morning for us, but that is why it was so fun and special.  Thank you Mimi and Julie for thinking of us to come along.
