2008 CHRISTMAS

Kevin, Kelly, and Garrett
Christmas 2008
We had a wonderful holiday and we hope everyone reading this did as well! Garrett was pretty tired after two very busy days. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were spent with family, good food, lots of laughs, and new memories made.
We especially missed Great-Grandpa DeWeese who spent Christmas in heaven this year-it was the first Christmas without him. We did get to spend some of Christmas Day with Great-Grandma DeWeese who is still in the nursing home.
We started Christmas Eve at Gma and Gpa Hamilton's house with a small and quiet family gathering, an awesome meal, and lots of presents to open. Then we headed to Gma and Gpa DeWeese's house for a big and noisy family gathering, a variety of food, and a rather loud, but traditional Santa. As you can tell from the picture below, Garrett's Santa reactions were pretty much the same. He was okay with Santa from a distance and even up close, just NOT on his lap. Christmas Day we went to morning Mass and returned to our house to let Garrett open gifts. He didn't really get into the whole opening gifts thing this year - just not real interested. We then headed back to Gma and Gpa DeWeese's house to open more presents. Our last stop was Great Aunt Mimi and Great Uncle Dave's house on Christmas Day! Whew - Bub was beat....he was a trooper though:)
We feel so blessed to have had another nice Christmas with family, and especially, Garrett!
Trying out his new stacking blocks on Daddy's head "No Thank you Santa" Daddy and Eagle must have been good boys - they got a St.Louis stocking!
This is about the most present opening that took place
One of Garrett's favorite Christmas gifts to play with - Aunt Tina's hair stuff
Opening gifts with cousin, Lilly
Playing in a box with cousin, Kiley
I can't believe they sat there long enough to get this picture
