With two boys, we never know what our days will bring. But, for whatever reason, it seems like when one "mishap" happens, another is close behind. Garrett had a tough weekend(a few weeks back) and I did get a few pictures after things calmed down. He was playing in the sheets on his bedroom floor as we were changing his bedding. He was simply jumping into the sheets when his foot got tied up in sheets, he stumbled and hit his mouth on a wood toy box. Needless to say, he bit through his lip and there was quite a bit of blood. After some crying from Garrett and us debating on taking him in....I thought maybe he needed a couple of stitches on the skin hanging lose on his chin.....we let some more time pass and decided not to take him in. He is a tough boy!
Unfortunately, the next day, Garrett fell out of his seat at Cracker Barrel and hit his head very hard on the restaurant floor. There were quite a few tears with this incident too, and that is a clear sign of pain for Garrett. That pain passed and Bub proved to be a physically tough boy again!
And then, about 2 weeks later, it was Grant's turn. We were visiting friends in town and Grant tripped and hit his mouth on their wood steps. Blood everywhere and a very upset one year old is a sad combination. Grant is pretty physically tough too and he also managed to bite through his lip. I did not get a picture of Grant's battle wound.
Now, both the boys have a small scar below their bottom lip, on their chins from where their tooth bit through their lip.
The sore under Bub's bottom lip is from him biting through his lip

"Are you done yet, Mom?"
Hard to tell, but he had a LARGE goose egg on his head after he fell at Cracker Barrel

Oh the joys of boys...you are getting me ready for mine! Glad they were ok and you didn't have to make any trips to the ER.
