HAMILTON FAMILY: CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHT

On Christmas Eve night, we went to Memaw and Papa DeWeese's house. This is always an exciting night because we get a visit from SANTA! Memaw and Papa's house is full of lots of people, with most the entire extended DeWeese family there. So, sometimes it may seem crowded and it does get pretty loud, but that is what we are use to and that is what we have grown to love.....a big, loud, and crazy family! There was snow this Christmas and it was a very pretty snow, but I forgot to get any pictures. Memaw prepares more food than even our over sized family can eat and the night is filled with family and laughter. Santa makes his appearance a bit later in the night and passes out gifts to all the children. Garrett was SO excited to get Mavis the train and Percy the train from Santa this year. That is exactly what he asked for!! Garrett acted a bit nervous right when Santa arrived, but that ended quickly and he was a lot of help with our Christmas songs that we sing to Santa. Grant, on the other hand, was not too thrilled about Santa! He did just fine sitting and watching, but when it was his turn to get his present and sit on Santa's lap, he was not a happy camper!
