I know December is a busy month for everyone, and it is especially with us as well. We have Bub's birthday right before Christmas and school is always very busy for me as a teacher. However, I try to take it with stride and enjoy all the joy December brings. We finished putting up and decorating our Christmas tree. Garrett's ornament hanging was quite similar to last year. He claims they need to be close. For example, all the "animal type" ornaments needed to be right by each other because they "are a family". So sweet. However, after a couple of days, he was totally fine with Mommy spreading out the ornaments.
During December, Garrett and Grant enjoyed finding treats in their stockings for St. Nick's Day, opening a door each day on our Advent calendar(and getting a piece of chocolate), and hanging a small wooden ornament on a wooden tree to keep a countdown until Christmas. They also loved the Elf on the Shelf.(see new post)
The first three pictures below are of Bub in the Christmas tree box. One from this year and the two previous years. This will continue to be a picture tradition:) He is the one that remembered this year to take the picture!
