CAMP RUDOLPH

We took a camping trip this summer to Camp Rudolph, located right next to Holiday World. I grew up camping here with my Grandparents and extended family and we had some really great times. Our times spent camping at Rudolph Lake will always be some of my favorite childhood memories.
We also had a wonderful time this past summer. I hope to continue this tradition with my boys. Garrett and Grant also seemed to really enjoy themselves while camping. Who wouldn't, right? It involves a lot of relaxing, eating, fishing, walking, bonfires, hanging out, telling stories, and laughing! Lake Rudolph camping grounds have really grown since I was young, so now there are more things to enjoy, such as the new playground, an olympic size swimming pool, a souvenir/grocery store, and golf carts. We went out that week and bought a new tent and put it to good use right away. It slept 7 of us comfortably! Like I said, we have done this camping thing a time or two, so we came pretty prepared. However, we did use the store across the street to buy our meat and milk when we were ready to eat.
We had perfect weather and great company, family! Can't wait to do it again! Kevin has wanted to go every weekend since:) We will always remember our first camping trip with the boys....Garrett peed on all the trees near our campsite.(he was potty training at the time and I even have some pictures of him peeing on a tree, but decided not to post it!)

This is how we got from "here to there". It's the way Grandpa DeWeese did it,so I am sure it will be the way Papa DeWeese will want to do it too:)
