Garrett has continued to grow and change. He is a very strong boy and is taking 5 ounces of milk at each feeding. We are glad that he is a good eater. However, because he is such a "big" eater, we have had to supplement formula for one feeding each day. Garrett is still sleeping about 6 hours a night on a consistant basis. We feel very lucky! He is smiling all the time and even laughing with his mouth open wide! We love that!
The Evansville weather has been pretty cold. So, Garrett and Mommy tend to spend
most of our days at home in the warm house. However, we have gone out to eat quite a few times with our families. Some of Garrett's
favorites are Kipplees and Texas Roadhouse. Garrett had his first trip to the mall and Dick's Sporting Goods and used his stroller for the first time; he loved it! He seems to love anything that moves. Garrett also took a trip to New Albany to visit his Aunt Kacie and our friends at St. Mary's School. One of the pictures with this blog is of the first graders at St. Mary's. They anxiously awaited Garrett's arrival with me from August through December.
Garrett has also gone to church and was a very good boy each time!
Garrett had a good time with his cousin, Lilly, when she was in town from Texas. She is a great big cousin. We can't wait for the arrival of Garrett's soon-to-be cousin, Kiley. She is expected to be born around March 6th.
Garrett will be 8 weeks in 2 days. Time has just flown. He is a true blessing:)

Time does fly but we are enjoying every single minute with our new grandson Garrett. Christmas and the weeks since have been some of the most special ever thanks to this beautiful little boy.
Garrett is the center of our universe right now and he will soon be joined there by our granddaughter Kiley. Richard and I often wonder what we ever did to deserve such a wonderful life.
We are certainly blessed with a family that just keeps getting better and better as it continues to grow. We thank God for all of you and we love you all very, very much.
Love,
Grandma and Granddad Hamilton
