Bub's last T-ball game

We were SO SO proud of how much Garrett improved with his T-ball skills this year.  It's amazing how much a kid grows and learns in one year! He LOVES to play ball and he looked forward to his games every week.  This season, Garrett probably hit about 50% of his "at bats" off the pitching machine. Not bad for a 4 year old!!  The other 50% he smacked off the T. His favorite position this season was "the middle" also known as the pitcher's position.  He loved it there because it got the most action.  Garrett made many many clean defensive plays while even throwing some out at first base!
The last game of the year is always pretty special because the kids get to play under the lights and they get their trophy. This year, it was exceptionally hot for our final game, so we let the players wear shorts and they even enjoyed running in a water sprinkler after the game. With Kevin and I both coming from softball/baseball backgrounds, we are thrilled Bub loves his ball and we look forward to watching him play for many more years!  Next year, just may be with his little brother. Grant can't wait.
