The boys were excited to carve pumpkins this year. Garrett still isn't a big fan of getting his hands "sticky" from the stuff inside the pumpkins. So, of course, Grant followed his lead and they wouldn't dig in with their hands. They both did pretty well with some big spoons. However, Kevin loves to get all "sticky", so he dove right in. That is a joke............Garrett is his Daddy made over when it comes to these kinds of things! However, Daddy was a trooper and worked hard to help with the pumpkins this year. Garrett was super sure he wanted one happy pumpkin and one mean pumpkin. Kevin drew the faces and confirmed them with Bub. After they were cut out, Garrett was quite upset about the "mean one". He said it did not look mean...............so I had Kevin add some "mean" eyebrows and that fixed it. WHEW!!
So, it was another successful year of pumpkin carving in the Hamilton household. They looked great lit up outside! We saved some seeds and we are going to try and grow our own pumpkins for next year.
