THIS AND THAT

I wanted to post some pictures of some of the things that go on during a "typical" day. We are often on the run and enjoy being with family, going to ballgames, etc. However, I still try to grab the camera when we are hanging out at HOME and just enjoying each other. Grant is growing and changing everyday, so him and Garrett really play together more and more all the time.  Garrett sometimes still has a hard time "sharing" his toys with Grant. But, Grant is not all innocent either:) There are a million things to do and play with in our house, but Grant will want the ONE thing in Garrett's hand. Garrett just laughs at Grant because right now, Grant is trying to talk. He will just babble words that are sentences long and Bub just chuckles.  Garrett will then look at me and say, "what is he talking about?" Garrett plays the big brother role well when it comes to "watching out" for Grant. Garrett makes sure that things Grant is doing or getting into are not dangerous. Garrett does not like the idea of Grant being away from us and never wants to do anything without him. Right now, Garrett is really into everyone and everything being a "FAMILY"! It is sweet. We are a family and we talk about that a lot. But, there are many things in our house and outside our house that are a "family" too.  For example, all the stuffed chipmunks (from the movie) we have always have to be together..."they are a family!" Again, I think this is sweet.  But, there are other things, such as the weights Mommy has (3lb, 5lb, 8lb) all have to stay together, because they are a family.  The chairs at the doctor's office (there were 3 big ones and one small one) in one of the rooms....they had to be moved to be right next to each other because the chairs are a family! HA....it's funny....and sweet:) It has been nice to be able to now(and for awhile now) give Grant the same thing  we give Garrett when it comes to drinks, snacks, food, etc. Garrett thinks it is so cool and Grant thinks he is big time when the boys sit together and eat some gold fish out of their very own bowls, but while sitting right next to each other. I guess it is the little things in life that make me so happy! We have thoroughly enjoyed watching our boys together over the past 18 months and we look forward to many many more memories!
In our pj's, probably watching Nursery Rhymes

Eating some gold fish

Me and my BOYS....they came by the sweetheart dance at my school
THEY ARE MY SWEETHEARTS!
Great picture, huh?

Driving the race car at a restaurant

STATIC
Enjoying an afternoon snack right next to each other....they normally don't sit this closely, so this was special and fun!

Look at that hair!

Playing outside at home:)

Garrett lined up his smallest cars/trains on my leg and requested that we take a picture!
He often requests pictures of things he makes/builds/creates.

The boys playing in the bottom drawer of the oven

NICE:)

Grant loves it in there:) He is a climber with no fear!

Grant made his way to the top of the toy table at Memaw and Papa's house! This is a common occurrence both at home and Memaw and Papa's house. Notice Grant's medal around is neck.....I love it! Garrett has been wearing that thing at Papa and Memaw's house nonstop since his frist T-ball practice.

BOYS playing together.......priceless:)
